Description
The first GPS surveying products used in the early and mid 1990's by the company were the Leica System 200 and System 300. When released by Leica in 1998 the company upgraded its GPS system to the top of the range System 500 range namely the Leica SR530 GPS Geodetic RTK.
Some of the applications of the equipment include:

The SR530 is a dual frequency receiver which is essential for high accuracy results and fast ambiguity resolution on-the-fly.
The system is capable of delivering:
* cm-accuracy RTK (Real Time Kinematic)
* 5mm + 1 ppm rapid static
* 3mm + 0.5 ppm static
Data processing including management, adjusting, transforms between co-ordinate systems and exports to commonly used CAD and GIS systems is carried out using SKI-Pro GPS software.
